BIA's Career Pathways program helps senior students find their direction

BIA's Career Pathways program is helping Year 11 and 12 students across Queensland to make informed decisions about career path options and post-school direction. This process assists students to realign focus and to build commitment in their final years of high school education by discovering a sense of direction or confirming a pathway that may already be in place.

One parent states, "Our son, although clearly capable in many aspects of schooling, was lacking direction for his future.  By engaging BIA to assess his aptitude, capture his interests and identify his personality preferences, he was able to be involved in the formulation of a clear pathway towards achieving his goals for his future.  His whole attitude has changed and he is visibly relieved by the process and more willing to discuss his future with us, his parents.  Thank you for your independent guidance and support in helping our wonderful boy."

Since then this student has carried on through his remaining year of high school education with commitment, and achieved his desired OP score.  As a result of his re-engagement with study and his focus, he was made an early offer by his first choice of tertiary institution in his preferred course.
